should i take pilates or ballroom dancing?
i'm 15 years old and i want to do something this summer so i've decided either pilates or ballroom dancing. The place i want to sign up at has pilates for teens-adults beg-int while the ballrooom dancing class is for ages 10+ beginners. I'm interested in both but i don't want to be the oldest one in the ballroom dancing class. Which one should i sign up for?
also am i too old to start? i don't really have that much dancing experience.
I suggest the Ballroom. It's something you can do for the rest of your life and it's fun too.
And I started Salsa at 37, so you're not too old. Just go out, have fun, practice and go for it.

Pilates is good if you want a toned and strong body

Hmmm….
That's hard. I think you should go to the one that interests you the most. I'm a dancer and if I had the choice of those two options I would go with Pilate's because it would help to shape you into a better dancer. It helps with flexibility and confidence.
Also, because I thought you might want to know, That ballroom dancing, 10+ years sound like something my Mum and her friends would do.
Good luck and whichever you decide to do Have Fun! x

Personal experence.
I'd go with the ballroom classes, even if you're the youngest or the oldest. Either will give you a good workout, but the dance classes will give you the foundation for social dancing the rest of your life. And it's a heck of a lot of fun.
