Can any1 recommend beginners ballroom dancing classes in south australia?
I am a 19yr old girl looking to take up ballroom dancing. Only problem I'm having is that its hard to find beginners classes that aren't for kids and aren't made up of 99% seniors, not that I have anything against older ppl but it would be nice to take a class that had some ppl nearer to my age in it. douse any1 have any ideas? I live in Para Hills which is near elizabeth, classes that aren't too far away would be great. Any ideas?
Thanx,
Laura
look in the phone book or just go in to a local dance supply store
they will be able to give you some info
they often have beginner classes
or get a group together of friends and contact a studio
then it will be with friends
lots of people do it at my studio

I would suggest attending a ballroom dance conference - I expect there are such in Adelaide and then going from there. That way you will get to know who the players are and find who the good instructors are.

Check out the Flamenco dance classes they tend to be frequented by adults and it's way more fun than ballroom. Check yellow pages and seach on internet.
